Bonner is the man! Present in the saddle w you for every cast, play by play explaining the best techniques for each opportunity to increase landing a strike! Also, has a great sense of humor & appreciation for good music. Looking forward to our next trip!

Been fishing with Bonner for many years now across many different bodies of water and targeting many different species!! He is a wealth of knowledge about not just the fish and Flyfishing but also about the geographical area in which you’re fishing!! Lots of fish, lots of laughs, lots of memories!! Bonner taught me how to fly fish in 2022 on the banks of the San Marcos River. Thirty mins later he put me on my first Guadalupe Bass, and actually first bass ever on the fly!

I consider Bonner my fly fishing mentor and a great friend. He’s a 10/10 Guide. Redfish or Bass, salt water or fresh, he’s your guy. Get on his books if you can!

I had the privilege of fishing with Bonner on the San Marcos river shortly after moving to Austin. I enjoyed the experience so much that once I knew he guided in South Texas where I grew up, we immediately booked with him the next Fall to go chase reds on the coast. I was super new to fly fishing and I learned so much getting to spend a couple of mornings on the water with him! He's a great hang, good on comms, an awesome and patient guide, and the dude gets you to the fish! Couldn't recommend him enough and only look forward to future opportunities to fish with him. Each trip has left me looking towards the next! Go rip it with Bones!

First time I touched a fly rod was on the Guad with Bonner. It was such great experience that I went and bought a fly rod and have been hooked since. He is professional and laid back at the same time. His goal seemed to be to create an enjoyable experience for my buddy and I. I have fished with Bonner again since then and the trip was the same, we caught fish and had a great time. We have stayed in touch for the last several years. It’s not often you run across a genuinely good person, Bonner is that. I am glad to consider him a friend. Go fish with him!
