I fished with Bonner and once again had a great time. His communication was great from the start. We discussed river option pros/cons and dates and he was even able to make lodging recommendations. He also coaches well on technique. I’ll be fishing with him again!

Before my trip with Bonner, I was really struggling to target river bass on the fly. Not only did he put us on a ton, but he explained the why and how. All while being a pleasure to be on the boat with. He also helped me appreciate everything the river has to offer beyond the fishing. I can’t recommend him enough. Especially if you want to leave the trip a better angler.

Bones is an exceptional guide and person!! I took my first San Marcos River fly fishing trip with him recently and it was amazing. He is a great teacher for a beginner and provided many opportunities to catch fish. He is also fun to be around and I will definitely be booking with Bonner again, in the near future!! He was also nice enough to share wade in spots for me, since I do not own a raft.

Booked a trip for my 14 year old son and I with Bonner on the Llano. It was one of the best fishing experiences of my life. We probably boated over 100 fish and my son, who had never caught a fish on fly before, probably boated at least 20 fish. Bonner was extremely patient with my son and that really distinguished him from other guides I’ve been with. A+++++
